Hello Lovlies,
I wanted to take a moment to share my new passion that has truly captured my heart and creativity. Introducing my very own beaded bags, a project that I have designed and crafted entirely by hand. Each bag is a labour of love, reflecting my personal style and dedication to the art of beading.
How It All Started
As I sat at my desk, meticulously hand-weaving intricate beaded necklaces and bracelets, I found myself lost in thought. I pondered the endless possibilities of what more I could achieve with my beading skills. I began brainstorming for innovative ideas on how to elevate my craft.
My three beautiful dogs were peacefully sleeping at my feet. Their gentle presence added to the serene atmosphere of my creative space. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the air, warming my spirits as I reached for my notepad to jot down my thoughts.
To fuel my inspiration, I decided to put on YouTube in the background. I allowed the sounds of a current affairs podcast to accompany my creative process. As I scrolled through various videos, I stumbled upon a captivating tutorial for beaded bags. I was immediately drawn in by the sight of a talented lady skilfully creating something truly magnificent. Her passion and expertise sparked a surge of excitement within me, igniting a newfound interest in this particular skill.
That day, she made such a profound impact on me that I realised this was the direction I wanted to pursue. With my notebook now positioned closer, I began to sketch out my vision for a beaded bag. I carefully considered how I wanted it to look, ensuring it would be visually stunning and functional. Strength was also a key factor in my design. I wanted these bags to be durable enough for everyday use while still being fashionable statement pieces.
As I delved deeper into my research, I discovered that the style of beaded bags I envisioned creating is quite rare in the UK fashion industry. This realisation only fuelled my determination to bring my unique designs to life.
